Multiverse Computing is a key player in the Spanish and European AI sector, using quantum-inspired techniques to compress and optimize large AI models into cost-effective, tailored solutions.
Founded in 2019, Multiverse Computing won DIGITALEUROPE’s ‘Future Unicorn’ Award 2024, recognised as the European scale-up with the most potential to reach $1B in value, and was named to CB Insights’ Top 100 AI Companies of 2025. Its two core technologies, CompactifAI (AI model compression) and Singularity (quantum optimization), serve clients across finance, energy, manufacturing, aerospace and defense, with partners bringing sector knowledge and use cases, and Multiverse contributing the problem-solving know-how.
Role in GRAIL
Multiverse Computing is a core technology partner in GRAIL, bringing its expertise in AI model compression and quantum-inspired optimization to make the project’s generative robotics models lightweight and deployable in real industrial environments. It leads the effort to compress and distil GRAIL’s shared architecture components so the resulting models run efficiently on-edge, enabling fast, low-latency inference on limited hardware. Multiverse Computing also secures the platform by encrypting sensitive industrial data and training pipelines, and by developing an AI-based intrusion detection module that protects GRAIL’s collaborative, multi-agent architecture.
