The University of Technology Nuremberg (UTN) is Bavaria’s first new public university in over 40 years and a model for the future of higher education. It combines interdisciplinarity, internationality, and digitalisation, with artificial intelligence as both a core research field and a cross-disciplinary driver of innovation. Research and teaching are organised in interdisciplinary departments, promoting project-based, digitally enhanced learning.

Close collaboration with industry and society ensures effective knowledge transfer. Supported by digital administration and a sustainable campus for 6,000 students, UTN serves as a living laboratory for innovative higher education.
